This inviting greenway stretches along the picturesque shores of Douglas Lake, offering residents and visitors an easy, peaceful path for strolling, jogging, biking, and taking in panoramic lake views. Designed to enhance community connections and promote active outdoor living, the trail is part of Dandridge’s ongoing efforts to expand recreational spaces and boost local tourism. Whether you’re out for a morning walk, a sunset ride, or simply enjoying fresh air with family and friends, the Dandridge Greenway provides a perfect way to embrace the relaxed lakeside lifestyle that defines this historic East Tennessee town.
Whether you're looking for a peaceful morning stroll, an afternoon workout, or simply a place to enjoy the outdoors with family and friends, the Greenway will become another reason to get outside and enjoy everything Dandridge has to offer.
As summer transitions into fall, one of Dandridge's most beloved traditions returns to Historic Downtown. Music on the Town brings the community together for evenings filled with live music, great food, and hometown fellowship.
Each Thursday evening, residents and visitors are invited to bring a lawn chair and enjoy outstanding performances from talented regional and nationally recognized artists in the heart of Tennessee's second-oldest town. Before each concert, the community gathers for the meaningful Pause for a Patriot ceremony, honoring local veterans and their service to our country.
With free admission, local food vendors, and a welcoming atmosphere for all ages, Music on the Town has become a signature event that showcases the spirit and charm of Dandridge. We encourage everyone to spend an evening downtown, support our local businesses, and make memories with family, friends, and neighbors. Concert Series begins on September 3rd.
Our Parks & Recreation Department is proud to provide quality programs, events, and recreational opportunities that strengthen our community and bring people together. Thank you to our volunteers, coaches, sponsors, participants, and families who make these programs possible.
Stay connected by following the Town of Dandridge Parks & Recreation on Facebook for the latest announcements, registration dates, and upcoming events.
We look forward to seeing you this fall—whether it's on the football field, basketball court, baseball diamond, downtown at Music on the Town, exploring the Greenway, or enjoying one of our many community events. Thank you for being part of what makes Dandridge such a special place to live, play, and grow.
